Fins Up! Water Park Introduce

Welcome to Fins Up! Water Park, located at 1225 Iyannough Rd Suite #4, Hyannis, MA 02601, USA. You can contact them at (508) 568-2940 or +1 508-568-2940. As part of the 'Water Parks Near Me' category, this indoor water park provides a variety of water attractions.

Environment:

Fins Up! Water Park is an indoor water park associated with a hotel. Customer reviews indicate that while the hotel may have been updated, the water park itself shows signs of wear. There are concerns about cleanliness, particularly in the wave pool and changing rooms. The park can become crowded, especially with hotel guests, and there are issues with towel availability and locker access.

Services and Features:

This water park features water slides and a wave pool. However, amenities such as towels, showers with body wash/shampoo, and functional lockers are reportedly lacking or inconsistent. Non-hotel guests face high ticket prices, and the park sometimes reaches capacity due to hotel guests, limiting entry for others. The park does provide seating areas.

Customer Feedback:

Customer reviews highlight several issues, including high prices for non-hotel guests, inconsistent amenities, and potential overcrowding. One reviewer mentioned, "The price to purchase tickets if you're not a guest at the hotel is expensive ($185 for 3 people). The staff couldn't keep up with the towel demands, and there were a ton of used towels in the changing rooms. Luckily, we brought our own but could only get 1 for 3 people. The showers didn't have any body wash/shampoo, so dont expect to shower unless you bring your own stuff. There are lockers, but you can't use them, so safety was a little bit of a concern. The wave pool was a little gross with some of the things floating in it." Another reviewer stated, "Tried to buy tickets a day in advance but website wasn't working. Called and endless ring, no answer. Arrived 11am on a Sunday and was apathetically told at waterpark entrance they were at capacity from hotel guests, would have to wait until 1pm to enter. A family behind us who drove an hour to get there was told the same thing. Went to the hotel front desk to inquire further and surprisingly was given attitude instead of understanding for questioning why the website didn't say anything about this, not even a disclaimer."

Promotional Information:

If you're considering visiting Fins Up! Water Park in Hyannis, MA, be aware of potential high prices for non-hotel guests and the possibility of overcrowding. It is strongly recommended to contact the park directly to confirm ticket availability and operating hours, especially if you are not a hotel guest. This location can be found under the 'Water Parks Near Me' category. Consider bringing your own towels and toiletries. Be aware of the potential for limited locker access and cleanliness issues. The park's slides and wave pool offer water activities, but the overall experience may be affected by the reported issues with amenities and customer service.

I can't speak to the food or drinks since we didn't order any.

Politely made a recommendation to change this so that others in the future don't also run into this issue which will surely happen again, but was again given a very dismissive attitude by the staff. Writing this review so others know and don't get screwed over themselves.

It's a place to visit, Very well facilitated with warmers during winter. Lifeguards are on alert always with a variety of slides, jacuzzi, riverway, kids pool side.

We went to Edaville Festival of Lights then spent the night at Cape Codder. There is a decent size water park that my grandchildren enjoyed (age 5 &7). The lazy river was closed for construction but we still enjoyed the rest of the Waterpark. There is a wave pool but not rough like some wave pools we've been in.It was clean and well staffed. Nice clean towels ready for us. We liked that although checkout was 11: we could stay at the Waterpark until 1:00. The one one thing I'd recommend is to bring puddle jumpers as they do no provide life preservers. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. I did take the extra pillows & blanket out of the closet. One pillow just isn't enough. There is a restraunt attached we enjoyed breakfast at. The food was delicious & our waitress was very good.

If I could give this place a zero star I would. The smell of chlorine is crazy I ended up leaving early then expected due to the high smell I could hardly open my eyes. It was overly crowded people had no place to sit. Understaff
