We've been eating at this place in Lagoon-a-beach for years. We always get the chicken basket combo. Every year it gets more expensive- which I get it, inflation, but this year, not only was it more expensive, but we got way less fries. I mentioned this to them and asked if we could get more fries. They said no, but offered me fry sauce, which was laughable because we were out of fries.

Fun little water park. If you plan to walk in the lazy river, probably want water shoes. The ground is really rough and a couple of us went home with little cuts and scrapes. Pool for older people gets 5 feet at the deepest. Only one slide uses tubes. There is also a sand volleyball court available for use. Not a ton of lawn chairs available.

I went in line at the liquid lighting, everything was all good untill we made it to the top.. All of a sudden the single line turned into two and around SIX people cut in front of me. Mind you i’ve been waiting for FOURTY minutes!! it’s so hot and this is so unprofessional. Id expect workers to be telling people to make a single line; instead they just watched people cut. Super bad experience, i definitely wouldn’t want to go on a water slide again if i’m going to go through the same thing. All these people listed in the photo were behind me. You know it’s bad when i came in line with my hair WET and i’m still in line but now it’s DRY.

I'm visiting family, and we opted to do half a day here with my kids. My overall impression is that it is one of the better water parks I've been to, considering its medium size, and I travel a lot and have been to many water parks around the world. The bottom line is I would come here again. Now my observations: 1. It's a tad expensive for what you get, there is no Waterpark only option. 2. The water slide management is agonizing and slow. We went mid week and somehow a line of 15 folks still took 10 minutes. They repeat the same safety speach to every single person, every single time, and it takes forever. On a weekend it would be excruciating to deal with. 2. No coolers into the pool area is plain stupid. 3. There are not nearly enough chairs. It appears they still have COVID bubbles painted in the ground. We were lucky to find chairs mid-week, you would have no chance on a weekend. They could triple the number of chairs and still leave plenty of room. 4. A lot of folks mentioned the rough concrete. It's anti-slip for sure, and my kids made a comment on it being rough, but nothing that prevented us from enjoying the day without water shoes.

Personally, I think "Lagoon-A-Beach" NEEDS to be REMOVED ❌ and replaced with Awesome Rides! My Family & I went yesterday for the first time this season (we are season pass holders). The location is horrible for one; you need to lug your stuff towards the back of the park. Second, no place to secure a spot for non-important items (chairs, loungers, etc. all taken). The Restrooms inside are dated, poorly cleaned, benches that I would never use to change myself, and creepy. The Building on the exterior have dated looking shingles (mossy look) and this old nasty brown appearance is not appealing to enter into. It also felt like none of the bigger slides were operating, and are getting old/worn out; water drips all over where lounging chairs are placed towards the back. The sand Volleyball Court is a JOKE as well; you are paying for an Amusement Park experience (not a Rec Center). Always wear swim shoes, the concrete will kill your feet & I just don't trust what I am actually stepping my bare feet on. I feel this 6 acre space can be beautifully used for a neat Roller Roaster or a cool Water Roller Coaster (in honor of the passing of Lagoon-A-Beach). I am truly being very real and honest. I hope The Freed Family can pour money into a great experience in this area. Thank You.
